We build things
that didn't exist
last semester.

Byte Society is our campus's student-run technology club — a place to ship real projects, learn from peers, and prep for the industry over pizza and bad coffee.

// about-us.md

A club run by students, for students who like building things.

Byte Society started as a group of five friends debugging assignments in the library basement. Today we're one of the largest student orgs on campus — but the mission hasn't changed: give students a low-pressure, high-momentum place to actually build, ship, and break things together.

No prerequisites, no "expert-only" gatekeeping. First-years learning their first git commit sit next to seniors shipping production code. We run weekly build sessions, invite engineers from local companies to give talks, and send teams to regional hackathons every semester.
